In Place of the April Senior Social

Because we were required to "shelter in place" during the Covid-19 pandemic, we couldn't gather at the church for our regular Senior Social. Instead, we called all our LAH clients (including those who don't attend the Socials) and asked if they would like a lunch delivered to their home. The effort was orchestrated by Vicki Mills and Johanna Alley who recruited volunteers to call all the clients to find out if they wanted to participate and more volunteers to deliver the sandwiches, and who picked up the sandwiches and distributed them to the drivers for delivery.

We delivered Eegee's grinders to 94 LAH clients, who were delighted to receive the lunches and to see a friendly face (even if it was behind a mask and through a screen door).
