Last Monday, Carolyn Maki and I shared involvement of an Elder Alliance meeting which called on community leaders to join in on the conversation about aging in Tucson--what are the most critical needs, issues, problems. For about a decade this conversation has been held. This group is poised for action on some familiar problems: transportation, housing, health care/dental care/end of life dialogues, direct caregiving, multigenerational dialogues about all of these issues, etc. Want to know more? I can send you booklets, papers which detail some of these in Tucsoh and who the representatives are.
Neighbors Care Alliance, the umbrella to LAH and 20 others, is changing its reporting forms for volunteers. BE AWARE THAT CHANGES ARE COMING! After this month, we will begin with new forms and your past forms will be useless and need to be deleted from computer, files. More info to follow.
