Friday, 10/22, about 10 Eller School of Business friends from UA joined Ward III and LAH to make a difference in Rose's yard. There is much more yet to do, but a little at a time, some dedication, a great friend to Tucson yards and lots, Mike Birrer, and help from Brianda at Ward III gave a little more clarity to the yard on an acre lot. Thank you all!
Thank you, Jane, and the Yard Sale elves!
Western Winds Senior Apartments, LAH, and Salpointe High School's Impact Program again collaborated to socialize with and assist the residents at the apartments on November 3rd and 4th. Last year, the students brought lunch for the residents and interacted with them through games, talk, help, and puzzles. We hope for more of the same. If you would like to be part of the LAH team, let Michele know, 520-248-6882.
My last two weeks have been a huge learning curve in the medical sense. My 95 year-old dad had a urinary tract infection that about sapped the life out of him: dehydration, debilitation, inability to eat, drink, talk. It was like night and day in a little over 24 hours. Thank you for keeping him in your good thoughts and prayers. I am staying very close to home.
