Volunteers

Volunteer ImageLend A Hand Volunteers provide a variety of services such as errands, dog walking, friendly visits, house and yard work, and caregiver relief. Most volunteers commit to no more than 5 hours a month. Yet, just a few hours can make a difference in the life of a senior neighbor. Please consider volunteering a few hours a month to assist a senior in your neighborhood. If interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer interest form or contact Program Coordinator Michele Brubaker at 248-6882 or 319-5928.

All volunteers receive a two-hour training prior to becoming a Lend A Hand Volunteer.

Lend A Hand is also a partner with Pima Council On Aging AMBASSADOR.

AMBASSADOR is a grassroots education, information & referral, and advocacy program for seniors and those who assist them. Through this outreach, PCOA's resources and services are better known among the population 55 years and older, improving access to services when they are needed.
